Hi Charly,

thanks a million for your enormous contribution and work for the community! Truly outstanding  :)

Just one remark concerning to this flightplan: some aircrafts with there flights are under ATC control by a/c registry ("R"), the others are by flight number and callsign ("F"). Make this sense?

Regards
Michael

Hi Michael,

This is due to the aircraft flying using their registration as a call sign for those flights. For some operators, some of their aircraft or some of the flights are flown with their registration as the call sign.
Also, in cases where flights have not been tracked but must have been flown at some point, e.g. if an aircraft has flown from Luton to Le Bourget and then the next tracked flight is from Hamburg to Munich, then the aircraft must have flown from Le Bourget to Hamburg at some point. As in this case that particular flight has not been tracked by any tracking sites, my flight planning system will automatically set this to fly with their registration as the call sign.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi Charly, thanks for  your explanation. I never heard before, that for some of the flights in real live the registration will be used instead of call sign. Or is it due to the lack of information for these (reposition) flights but in reality these flights are performed under the callsign? For that I might change the respective flights to callsign but with fictive flight numbers.

Regards

Michael
