AI Traffic Sound Pack v1.1

It is possible to add your own, more realistic, sounds to each aircraft in FSX, by adding the sounds to the soundai folder in each individual aircraft folder.

An excellent example of realistic AI sounds is Marcel Verheydt’s AI sound pack for the Airbus 320 family and for Boing 737/747/777. However for smaller jets and props you’d have to make do with the default sounds, until now.

Karai Akai has released an AI sounds pack which also includes smaller jets, piston and turbo prop sounds, available at AVSIM. The first release was made in November, with an update released a few days ago.

Installation is simple, just drag and drop the soundai folder from the zip file into a corresponding aircraft folder. This can of course be quite a tedious task, especially if you like me have several hundred aircraft folder, but the it’s absolutely worth the effort.

Whereas the default sounds are just a flat generic jet sound, Karai’s ai sounds add another dimension to the AI world, particularly during take-off.
