DJ's repaints / Re: Fleet: Alliance Executive Jets Pilatus PC-12
« on: May 18, 2024, 05:58:57 PM »
Guys,

Be aware of issues..

I noticed the title "AIG Pilatus PC-12/47E Alliance Executive Jets 9H-EHA" contains a slash (/). The computer system for the flight simulator uses slashes (/) in its code, which means anything after the slash might not be read properly.

I have edited the title to use a hyphen (-) instead of a slash (/). The correct title should be "AIG Pilatus PC-12-47E Alliance Executive Jets 9H-EHA" not this "AIG Pilatus PC-12/47E Alliance Executive Jets 9H-EHA".

Please be aware that using slashes (/) in text for the flight simulator can cause issues. To avoid this, never use slashes (/) in text files for the simulator. If you need to add comments in code, use double slashes (//) or a single slash followed by a space (/ ).

Using slashes can confuse the reading of the code.

Thanks,

Stuart

General / Re: Can I release my DXTBMP repaint from scratch?

I ask you again. Can I upload any paint from DXTBMP and all from the original white paint plain?

Disregarding the Florida State repaint I created.  John Dix had a repaint today, which I found in the BizJet Project released now.

Thanks,

Stuart

General / Can I release my DXTBMP repaint from scratch?

Hi Charley,

May I upload my repaint? I started with DFAI's white original repaint from scratch. I edited the tail ID and took a screenshot of the FSU logo, which I placed on the tail. Can I share this with the public? It's just a temporary fictional repaint for anyone who wants to use it with flight plans until a professional repaint becomes available to replace mine. It will be removed from your computer eventually.

I just wanted to assist users who might find it useful. Please let me know.

Could you also take a look at the repaint layout and confirm if it's okay to upload?

Thanks,

Stuart

1. I never have had an issue with these plans not readable or editable with Windows Notepad.

2. Why use TTools when you have AIFP?

Jorgen

I don't like AIFP system.  Too many errors that are driving me nutz!  :P  TTools is fine.

I noticed some foreign letters with e with top semi colon or dash. It does not work TTools. I have to delete an E. I have to type regular letter e formal. It works TTools complied it.  It does not work with ASDI or any others symbols for TTools.

Notepad from flightplans or aircraft is not working with TTools. I found out that notepad is completely different format from Mac or Linux or other unknown reasons. I had to open my windows 11 fresh new plain notepad and I type all over again.  I saved notepads.  TTools complied and worked fine.  Something is wrong with your notepad formated.

Thanks,

Stuart
