There may be some other 172s in the fleet, these are just the ones on Jetphotos. It is likely related to the school in the UK that employs a similar shade of green in their liveries.

Things amiss? Yes. The tail logo should be a strike of black flanked by 2 smaller strikes of green, but the template makes one of these green strikes black instead (the bottom one).

Some (all?) the fleet also have a very small green logo that resembles a leading edge profile on the tail. That is hard to create!

To ease the pain of creating all of these from the links, I have on this occasion also chosen to upload the DDS files I created from these links as well. The links are there for if you think you can improve on them.

I've not included any CFG entries and the filenames will need to be altered for the textures to show up - the names currently contain the reg and the base data that I use when setting up these paints in my setup. I eventually strip this data back off when setting up the aircraft folder structure on installation (which for me might be months from now).

If you use FS9 and need the textures in BMP, you should be able to specify that format in the One-Click Repainter (on my system, that setup never "sticks", a bit like the color selector no longer saves favorite colors in a pallette). If like me you can't get BMPs output very easily, you can convert DDS to BMP using this converter.

So, all the textures in the zip can be made into BMPs that way.
