PC-6 for FS9
« on: February 17, 2023, 07:42:25 PM »
I have modified this model significantly since the early version was made available for compilation for FSX.

Dihedral corrected, windows cut out, angle of propellor corrected, gear legs made more sturdy and numerous details added.

Examples of H4. HB-FDU started out as a piston engine A1-H2.

Thanks Morten,

Stuart, I was so happy with the result that I just had to share the images. I have not uploaded this model anywhere.
I still have incomplete textures because of the changes to the landing gear.

I will send you a link to download the H4's I have, in their current state, in a PM.

That's looking great, John, I like the attention to the fact that the still prop would be feathered!

Thank you for the kind words, Gents.

I am contemplating uploading the H4 with blank textures in place of those textures that are incomplete.

Note also there are versions with a sliding door on both sides and versions with a 3 blade prop.

I have separated out the H2 and M2 models. The wingspan is less with the blunt ends.

PC-6 always reminds me of this clip. Great movie!

I'm quite happy for the release to be on your schedule, John. Don't feel rushed by our enthusiasm, we know these things take time to do and even longer before the author gets happy with them. We're in FS9 for the long haul, we can be patient!

I did upload a set of models to Avsim on 21 February.
Not sure what is happening there now as the library is off-line.

In the interim I have found problems with models (shifted vertices etc.) Causing display issues.
I have also not used the correct "make model" text so the flaps do not animate for take-off. Realised that now.

Here are screen shots of two new paints on new (to FS9) airstrips.

If someone would like these models please let me know on one of the AI forums. My username is the same.
